Performing Arts

At Langwarrin Primary School, students learn from all three strands of the Performing Arts: Music, Dance and Drama. They learn to read music and play instruments, experiment with role-play and experience both choreographed and improvised dance. They are given many opportunities to perform for a range of audiences throughout the year, including choirs, bands and dance troupes. We have a Prep choir and a Grades 1 – 6 choir.
A highlight of the year is the Grade 6 musical performance that also includes a showcase of musical talent from the Prep classes.
